The greatest appeal of fat transfer breast augmentation is that it can create a soft, natural feel using your own fat.
Because the incisions are very small, scars are minimal and the results are generally difficult for others to detect.
Fat is harvested safely with advanced equipment, processed using an internationally recognized method, and only carefully selected, high-quality fat is injected into the breasts.
This approach is designed to improve fat retention, reduce the risk of complications, and minimize interference with routine breast cancer screening—helping you feel confident over the long term.
Carefully selected, high-quality fat
Precise fat injection technique
A smooth, natural finish at the donor area
Harvested fat contains a mixture of viable fat cells, less viable fat cells, adipose-derived stem/stromal cells, and tumescent anesthetic fluid. The components considered most important for fat graft survival are viable fat cells and adipose-derived stem/stromal cells.
At MYCLI, we concentrate the fat to enrich these graft-relevant components, using only the components most relevant to successful fat graft survival.
Our technique focuses on three key principles.
If fat is injected in large clumps, the central portion may not receive enough blood supply and can undergo fat necrosis.
Fat necrosis is not just a matter of cell loss; it can lead to oil cysts, calcification, and palpable lumps.
For this reason, fat must be placed in very small amounts so that each grafted area can receive adequate nutrition from the surrounding tissue.
This is the principle behind the micro-injection technique.
To distribute a sufficient volume of fat in fine, delicate layers, we place it across multiple tissue planes and spaces.
One important point is to avoid injecting fat into the breast gland itself, as this may create findings that can be flagged on breast imaging.
During the procedure, we use a highly refined tactile sense to confirm the plane and depth of injection.
When appropriate, ultrasound guidance is also used to help confirm the injection plane.
To respond to a wide range of aesthetic goals, we use cannulas custom-made to our specifications.
These cannulas help us lift breasts that have begun to sag, create a rounder shape, and enhance cleavage in a natural-looking way.
This is where our long experience in breast reconstruction is especially valuable.

There’s no point in enhancing your breasts if it leaves the donor area lumpy and uneven.
Our director trained at an institution known for teaching liposuction technique, and applies that experience to create a smooth, natural finish at the donor site as well.
We also use our clinic-specific recovery protocols to help reduce downtime as much as possible and support a smoother postoperative course.

07Suture removal, usually about one week after surgery
Bruising and swelling typically last about two weeks.
Pain is often described as a deep muscle-soreness sensation. The duration varies from person to person, but it usually settles within about one week, even in patients who are sensitive to pain.
For patients who request it, suturing can be performed the following day.
Sutures are usually removed about one week later. A method that does not require suture removal may also be available on request.
QHow much larger can my breasts become?
This varies depending on factors such as breastfeeding history and skin elasticity, but one session typically increases breast size by about 1 to 1.5 cup sizes.
Injecting too much fat at once can increase the risk of lumps, so keeping the volume within a safe range is important.
Because fat transfer can also improve breast shape, many patients feel satisfied beyond the cup-size change alone.
QHow much of the transferred fat will survive?
Retention varies from person to person, but with our technique it is often around 70%.
